Getting ready for the semester!

Whether you are new to campus or just forgot everything over the Summer break, here are just a some helpful links that you may need to prepare your courses for the semester:

• Requesting your ELMS Bb course space If you would like a secure space to communicate regularly with your students, post your course syllabus, readings and any other course materials, as well as use a discussion board and much more, then ELMS is for you! Once you have an active directory ID and password, you can request a course space on ELMS which runs the course management system, Blackboard. Go to https://elms.umd.edu/ and click on the "Faculty Resources" tab at the top, then select the first link which is "Course Requests Form".
  

If you have any course readings or documents you would like scanned, you can drop them off at Language Media Services in room 1204 of the Jiménez building or in JMZ 3215F.
