Are you interested in using technology and constrained by time?

Come to the UTAP Faculty Focus Group to learn how the College can help you!
Tuesday, November 27th, 11am-12:30pm in the Dean's Conference Room (KEY
1120J)

Come hear from other faculty members who have utilized UTAP students.

The Undergraduate Technology Apprenticeship Program provides trained students to do the things you don't have time to do:

+ Try new things in your teaching and research

+ Integrate images, video, or audio into your lectures

+ Try online discussions, quizzes, or student projects

+ Use a weblog or wiki for communication

+ Or whatever else you might think of!

The College of Arts and Humanities pairs undergraduate students with faculty members. The students complete a three-credit technology training course in the fall, and in the spring, they are paid to work with their faculty member for up to ten hours per week. The UTAP students can assist faculty by developing web materials, creating Powerpoint presentations, digitizing images and video, creating DVDs, providing assistance during class, or doing whatever else you might need! You get the help you need, and they get to develop a relationship with you and learn about your work.
