Join your colleagues as they showcase how they have incorporated online discussion boards into their courses and have increased student engagement both inside and outside of the classroom. The panelists, Dr. Eyda Merediz, Dr. Alene Moyer, and graduate student Veronica Muñoz will each discuss planning, assessment and the results of their firsttime uses of the discussion tool available in Blackboard as well as give examples from their language and literature courses. This session will take place in the multipurpose room in St. Mary's hall from 3:30-5pm on Wednesday, October 15th. One on one hands on sessions will be available by appointment. This session is part of the SLLC Faculty Teaching Forum.
